Pastor Otis F. Brown, Jr.

CHAPLAIN'S CORNER

Greetings Fellow Troopers,
I hope and pray that everyone is doing well. We remember our troopers who have lost love ones locally or nationally. There is always a grieving process one goes through. There is  no set universal time for one to grieve. Each individual will grieve at their own pace.
We are living in very tumultuous times. Wars breaking out everywhere, school shootings and political polarization have affected all of us.
As crazy as things are, my spirit is always uplifted while  wearing some of my Buffalo soldiers attire. At times total strangers stop me and I get to engage in good educational conversation about what we represent.

You all are a blessing to me and I pray for you all. I’m really looking forward to the National gathering next year to be held right here in Tucson. I know we all have to work together to make this a successful event. I thank the Chapter for understanding my absence at times, due to my responsibilities as Pastor at Siloam Christian Church.
I consider it an honor to service as Chaplain of GSAAC. Blessings to all of you.

Chaplain Otis F Brown Jr.
